The name Momo comes from Japanese, meaning "peach," symbolizing immortality and long life in Japanese mythology. Paired with Loco, which conveys a lively, carefree spirit, it reflects the unique lifestyle embodied by MomoLoco. The name was also inspired by the owner's dachshund, Momo, whose playful energy captures the brand's vibrant essence.

MomoLoco was inspired by the founder's grandparents, Martha and Emil, who captured their lives together over many years in fun, stunning, raw photographs. Their carefully crafted photobooks served as the inspiration for the founder of MomoLoco, which aims to offer more than just clothing and accessories.
MomoLoco Atelier strives to bring this vision to life through a first edition magazine, which is a work in progress.
